finally approved... got magic emails this morning :D:D
How does one go about canceling the pending EB2-NIW i-485 (possibly get the money back... will be glad to donate it all to IV :D:D)
I went thru all the arguments and counter arguments that this guy made. Some made sense others did not but the post attached below shows he is a piece of thrash full of vanity and arrogance. Just for yur info Mr. gctest getting into a second tier university in India and framing yur SOP with some thrash and sentiments will easily fetch yu a place in yur so called tier one UNiversities in US. I am sure you opted to do that as you were not able to get into any of the tier one B-schools or other similar place of higher learning in India because you did not have the grey matter in your head. Moreover students from those places come to US directly recruited by the companies in US (that too after paying a hefty placement fees per recruit and on a dual intent H1B visa) but unfortunately they too are in EB2 category............I am really happy that you got your GC and can merrily gloat about your academic proficiency and IQ level of "180" (but commonsense...) with much more freedom.

Nobody asked me if I have immigration intent... they saw that i had I-20 from Cornell, MIT & UMBC and simply asked "Why cornell?". And before i could say anything she smiled and said "welcome to united states"... hah..suck on that

I am also in the same boat. i have applied for PWD on second week of Feb but still waiting. it looks like it is taking around 6 to 7 months just for applying labor and after that approval will be one more year assuming no RFE.

I gave my 3rd FP for pending 485 last week. Haven't seen any LUD change since. My NC was cleared last year as per USCIS. My question is after every FP, does FBI initiate a new name check? is this a vicious circle ?
No, I went for my 2nd FP last week. I asked USCIS (800#) the above question.
It is done once. Looks like FP and Name check are different processes.

I am on the same boat.. My Wife is Expecting...Doctor filling I-693 form will file for exception.
and we need to take the shots after the pregnancy and feeding.
Today is a great day in IV history!
We filed our AOS last week (EB3 PD Jan 2007). My wife is currently pregnant and so she could not take all the vaccinations that are required in the medicals. She did the other required medicals though.
My question: Will this cause our applications to be denied? OR will they allow my wife to get the shots after our baby is born?
Anyone with experience please help.

As it is mentioned in the RFE, I have to reply with the sealed envlope and copy of letter and the yellow paper attached. I did not receive any yellow paper along with the mail. Did any one received like this ?
The gold coversheet is sent to lawyer, you only get a copy of the RFE letter. You can still respond to RFE without this letter just make sure you provide all the details (Receipt number, Alien number, RFE refernce, copy of RFE) when responding to this RFE.

I look at this image and find no main point of interest, my eye is left to simply rome around the image and is not driven to "the" subject matter.
I had a quick play.... a slight rotate, crop and clone to come up with this...

The diagonal line leads you in from the rear to the main flower, while the same happens from the front. You could play with the DOF of this image also (either in camera of PS) as narrow DOF would help draw attention to main subject flower of your choice, eg:.....

Also, the eye will naturally fall to the brightest part of an image, so all background flowers that may have distracted from subject flower have been cloned out.

tricky question general rule.
1 week (not recommended questionable by USCIS if complained by anyone):eek:
1 month Questionable by USCIS
2 months ok might not have problems at passport filing
3 months preferable relatively safe
4 months plus you are pretty safe.
